I am a 19 year resident of Dana Point and currently serve as Vice-Chairman of the Dana Point Planning Commission. I have been married to Carole for 40 years and have three daughters who graduated from Dana Hills.  Being a Vietnam era veteran and business executive, I understand the importance of commitment, leadership, action and community service.

I formed and operated $50,000,000 divisions for two Fortune 500 companies. While Kingston Technology's VP, Sales, revenue grew $1,200,000,000 in 7 years, while incurring no debt.

The City of Dana Point is in great financial shape and we need to keep it that way.  I am a “No Nonsense” businessperson who answers to nobody but you, the citizens. I will maintain our outstanding quality of life and healthy beaches in Dana Point, Capistrano Beach, and Monarch Beach.

My accomplishments include:

• Vice-Chairman, Dana Point Planning Commission

• Town Center Subcommittee Member

• Driving force in retaining Harry Otsubo’s name on the Community Gardens

• Getting the Farmers Market in La Plaza, and instituting a Craft Fair

• Requiring Story Poles for any variance request 

• As a bicyclist contributing to our Bike, Trails and Parks Master Plan
